West African Drumming Classes + Dance Class

Come along to the drumming, the dance class, or stay for both.

West African Drumming Class
6.30–7.55 pm

West African Dance Class
8.00–9.00 pm

Our drumming classes are friendly, welcoming and suitable for different levels of experience. We learn traditional West African rhythms on djembe and dunduns, building the different parts together as a group. Drums are provided.

The dance class follows afterwards and is a separate class, so you absolutely do not have to dance if you come drumming – or drum if you come dancing!

A great way to learn, have fun, meet people and enjoy the energy of West African music and dance.

Classes are taught by Justine Hart, who has been running West African drumming classes in High Wycombe since 1998. She also runs workshops for schools, community groups, team building, events and parties.

There is a also a drumming class in Ellesborough near Wendover on Wednesdays.
