You’ve been asking for a Kizomba and Semba teacher for a very long time, and now—you shall receive! All the way from Oslo, Norway, the incredible Theo Awadzi will be joining us at Mottram St Andrew Village Hall.
If you have never done Kizomba or Semba before, please don't be put off. This is your perfect chance to learn, try something new, and completely boost your confidence on the dance floor. You're in safe hands—come and be inspired!
Think 1920s Speakeasy vibes: fedoras, lovely dresses, waistcoats, and a dance floor that doesn’t quit. Whether you’re a regular 'gangster' on the floor or this is your first time visiting our hideout, you’re part of the family.
The Plan:
7:30pm - 8:20 PM - An introduction to Semba Class by Theo Awadzi
8:20 pm - 9: 00 PM - Understanding the basics of Kizomba Dance by Theo Awadzi
The Music: DJ Jerry is on the decks, spinning a killer mix of Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba.
The Dress Code (Optional): Sharp suits, suspenders, flapper dresses, or just your favourite 'night on the town' look.
The Vibe: No egos, No judgment. Just the best community in Cheshire keeping the spirit of dance alive. There are no strangers here, just friends you haven't danced with yet.
