Hey dance lovers!
In view of the fact that we'll now be taking a break over the summer here in York, here's one last chance for a get together!
Doors open at 7.00pm. There will be class at 7:15pm for anyone new to kizomba and then social dancing from 8:15pm until midnight. Complete beginners are welcome to attend this session and we have plenty of (fairly!) patient leaders and followers if you decide to stay for the social and practice your new skills! As always there will be the usual sprinkling salsa tracks played throughout the evening (perhaps a touch more than normal this time around), and maybe the odd bachata if it is requested beforehand, though you can still expect the emphasis to be on kizomba. I know most of us do love a salsa though, me included! As I say, it will be our last for a few months at this venue, and it's actually our first in an evening, so let's make it a good one! I have, as always, done my best to avoid any potential clashes with local events so hopefully you'll all be free!

The venue has a large wooden floor surrounded by seating and a bar. There is a strict 'no outside drinks' policy so please do adhere to this and try to support the bar (it's a very reasonably priced bar compared to most in York!) which provides beverages of all kinds.
There is parking for 30 - 40 cars split between two car parks. Coming from Huntington road, use code YO31 8FT for York Podiatry car park. Coming from Haxby Road, use YO31 8JR for Whitecross Road car park. If you arrive by train it’s 25 minute walk from central York.
