Description
Trio Caliente is a Rueda de Casino structure where we transition between dancing in couples and triplets of 3 dancers.
Don't worry about whether you're familiar dancing as 2 followers with one lead, or 2 leaders with one follower, you will be taught this from first principles (and it's a great skill to have for the social dance floor!) - even if you've done this before you might learn something new about dancing in a trio!
We will then apply the triplets idea to Rueda de Casino and you will learn methods to transition between different triplets and in and out of a Trio Caliente structure from a regular rueda.
In order to join this workshop you need to be an intermediate or above Rueda de Casino dancer in the role you choose. If you're not sure whether you're an intermediate dancer by Alegria standards then please ask!
Do I need to book?
Yes! For this structure the number of dancers must be divisible by 2 AND 3, so a limited number of spaces will be made available to start off with. If you find that your role is sold out, please contact me and I'll include you if I have enough interest!
The price of the workshop is £12.50. Payment options:
1) Card payments through TicketSouce as usual (booking and transaction fees apply)
2) In person card payment on a Wednesday (only 50p transaction fee applies)
3) Bank transfer (no booking or transaction fees)
4) Cash (no booking or transaction fees)
If paying by cash or bank transfer then please speak to me/send a message to reserve a pass. To allow balanced numbers, all reservations must be paid in advance of the workshop.
