🇬🇧 Neopostale’s first Neo-Weekend is here, and tickets are now on sale. Tangopostale is a traditional Tango festival that has long embraced Neo Tango. The Neo section is called Neopostale..
🇬🇧 This first weekend features afternoon classes. This year, there will be four instructors offering different workshops.
Once classes are over, you can order a delicious meal.
Evening sessions at the studio will start at 10 p.m. on Friday, and at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. They will all end at 5 a.m. As everyone knows, Toulouse is the perfect place to party.
The two international instructor couples are: Agnieszka & Tymoteusz and Sara & Sebastian.
Also teaching will be Samara, who advocates co-leading, and two newcomers to the dual-role approach, Fernanda and Irène.
There will be one class on Friday; all other classes will be on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
We tend to select instructors based on their teaching style, originality, open-mindedness, and dedication to all forms of tango.
Between classes and evening events, we eat at the studio. You’re welcome to bring your own food and join us. You can also order meals; the menus are available on the website.
The dance nights on this first weekend will be illuminated by our Parisian VJ, Philippe, who possesses the romance, technical skill, and mischief—the three ingredients needed to surround your dancing with poetry. You may think of yourselves as dancers, but to Philippe, you are the fish in his aquarium.
But you can’t dance without music, so we’re featuring seven DJs:
Anna Neum, Christine Vervaet, Sara d’Ajello, Saskia Frankena, Christophe Beau, Thierry Bailleul, and Phil.
What can we say about them? … Well, simply that they’re fantastic!
Julia will also be performing twice, on Friday and Saturday. And there’s the usual Sunday night party.

For accommodations during the first weekend, July 4–6, I recommend Airbnbs near Avenue de Rangueil. If you’re staying longer, our Airbnb in the city center would be better; you could also stay there over the weekend, as there will be plenty of carpooling options listed on the Tangopostale website.
The beginnings of Neo at Tangopostale—the original festival—date back 11 years, when we held a party on Thursday night alongside the traditional events. Since then, Neo has indeed grown.
Many people come because they love all kinds of tango; they can move from one to the other very easily. The festival’s name isn’t very glamorous. In fact, Tangopostale comes from a reference to the Aéropostale, which is linked to the flight from Toulouse to Buenos Aires in 1927—99 years ago!

Tangopostale est un festival traditionnel de Tango, qui accueille le Neo Tango, depuis très longtemps. La partie Neo, s'appelle Neopostale.
Ce 1er week end, c’est des après-midis, avec les cours. Cette année il y aura quatre professeurs avec des propositions différentes.
Quand on a fini les cours, on peut se commander un bon repas.
Les soirées au studio, commenceront à 22h le vendredi, le samedi et le dimanche à 21h30. Elles finiront toute à 5h du matin. Tout le monde le sait, Toulouse, pour faire la fête, on est bien placé.
Les deux couples de professeurs internationaux sont : Agnieszka & Tymoteusz & Sara & Sebastian
En tant que professeur, il y aura également Samara qui défend le co guidage, et deux petites nouvelles pour le Double rôle, Fernanda et Irène.
Il y aura un cours le vendredi, tous les autres cours seront le samedi et le dimanche après-midi.
Nous sommes enclins à sélectionner les professeurs, en fonction de leur pédagogie, de leur originalité, de leur ouverture d’esprit et de leur attachement à tous les Tangos.
Entre les cours et les soirées, nous mangeons au studio. Vous pouvez prendre votre nourriture et venir manger avec nous. Vous pouvez également commander, les menus sont sur le site.
Les soirées de ce premier week-end, là, seront illuminé par notre VJ parisien, Philippe, qui a, le romantisme, la technicité et la malice qui sont trois ingrédients pour que vos danses soient entourées de poésie. Vous croyez être des danseurs, pour Philippe, vous êtes les poissons de son aquarium.
Mais pour danser, il faut de la musique, on vous propose sept DJ :

Il y aura également deux fois Julia en concert, vendredi et samedi. Et l'habituelle nocturna du dimanche.

Pour l’hébergement, du 1er week-end 4/6 juillet, je vous conseille des Airbnb proche de l’avenue de Rangueil. Si vous restez plus, notre Airbnb au centre-ville serait mieux, vous pourriez également rester là le week-end, il y aura beaucoup de covoiturage sur le site de Tangopostale.
Les débuts du Neo, à Tangopostale qui est le festival, originel, remontent à 11 ans, où nous avons fait une soirée le jeudi soir, à côté des traditionnels. Depuis effectivement, le Neo, c’est agrandi.
Beaucoup de gens viennent, car ils aiment tous les Tango, ils peuvent passer de l’un à l’autre, très facilement. L’appellation du Festival n’est pas très glamour. En fait Tangopostale vient de la référence à l’Aéropostale, qui est relié au vol, Toulouse, Buenos en 1927, il y a 99 ans !
Et de Tangopostale, Neopostale s’est rajouté…
