Dance DNA is a series of creative workshops designed to help you move beyond simply learning moves and discover your own unique style. Explore confidence, musicality, connection and authentic expression, so your dancing feels more natural, instinctive and individual.

Drawing on contemporary dance principles, you'll experiment with movement, shape, tension, timing, pauses and flow, learning how to respond naturally to both your partner and the music. This is about exploration rather than choreography, helping you develop greater freedom, creativity and connection.

Workshop 1 – Turn Up The Flair

Learn how to add personality, musicality and expression without overcomplicating your dancing. Drawing on contemporary dance concepts, you'll explore movement quality, pacing, the 70/20 principle and creative options for adding flair that feels natural rather than forced.

This workshop is suitable for Intermediate level and above dancers.
