“Täytän elokuussa 40 vuotta – ja mitenpä muuten juhlistaisin sitä kuin tanssien, mulle rakkaassa työ- ja tanssipaikassa Flamassa.
Juhlien kunniaksi luvassa on kaksi workshopia lajeista, joilla on mulle erityinen merkitys.
Showjazz on laji, jolla aloitin tanssinopettajan urani yli 20 vuotta sitten. Voguing taas oli ensimmäinen laji, jota opetin Flamalla aloittaessani työt täällä vuonna 2019.
Nyt on hyvä mahdollisuus päästä sellaisten lajien tunneille, joita en normaalisti enää opeta. Tule juhlimaan mun kanssa tanssien!”

Showjazz
Showjazz-tunnilla edetään lämmittelyn kautta salin poikki tehtäviin harjoituksiin ja lopuksi opetellaan energinen loppusarja.
Tunti on avoimen tason tanssitunti, ja sopii sinulle, jolla on jo hieman tanssikokemusta.
Voguing
Voguing-tunnilla sukellamme ballroom-kulttuurin maailmaan ja tutustumme tanssilajina vogue femmeen. Käymme läpi lajin historiaa ja merkitystä sekä opimme vogue femmen viisi elementtiä käytännön harjoitusten kautta.
Tunnilla keskitytään itseilmaisuun ja asenteeseen – jokainen saa tulla sellaisena kuin on ja löytää oman tapansa liikkua. Tunnin taso on avoin taso, eikä aiempaa kokemusta voguingista tarvita.
🧡 Lotta Lähteenmäki 🧡
Lotta Lähteenmäki on valmistunut tanssinopettajaksi vuonna 2010 ja opettanut tanssia yli 20 vuoden ajan. Hänen opetuskokemuksensa kattaa monipuolisesti eri lajit, tasot ja ikäryhmät. Lotan opetuksessa yhdistyvät liikkeen ilo, tekninen osaaminen ja syvä yhteys omaan kehoon.
Lotta on myös kouluttautunut joogaohjaajaksi sekä tanssi- ja liiketerapeuttisten menetelmien ohjaajaksi. Nämä taustat näkyvät hänen opetuksessaan lempeytenä, kehotietoisuutena ja armollisena suhtautumisena oppimiseen. Hänen tunneillaan vallitsee lämmin, positiivinen ja turvallinen ilmapiiri, jossa jokainen saa tulla juuri sellaisena kuin on.
Lotalle tanssi ja liike ovat elämänmittainen rakkaus ja voimavara. Hän uskoo, että liike voi hoitaa, vapauttaa ja vahvistaa – ja että jokaisella on oikeus löytää oma tapansa ilmaista itseään tanssin kautta.
Flamalla Lotta opettaa heels-tanssia, commercial dancea ja joogaa.

Show Jazz
The Show Jazz class begins with a warm-up, continues with across-the-floor exercises, and finishes with learning an energetic choreography.
This is an open-level dance class suitable for anyone with at least some previous dance experience.
Voguing
In the Voguing class, we’ll dive into the world of ballroom culture and explore the dance style vogue femme. We’ll go through the history and significance of the style and learn the five elements of vogue femme through practical exercises.
The class focuses on self-expression and attitude — everyone is welcome exactly as they are and encouraged to find their own unique way of moving. The class is open level, and no previous voguing experience is needed.
🧡 Lotta Lähteenmäki 🧡
Lotta Lähteenmäki graduated as a dance teacher in 2010 and has been teaching dance for over 20 years. Her teaching experience covers a wide variety of styles, levels, and age groups. Lotta’s teaching combines the joy of movement, strong technical knowledge, and a deep connection to the body.
Lotta is also trained as a yoga instructor and as a facilitator of dance and movement therapeutic methods. These backgrounds are reflected in her teaching through gentleness, body awareness, and a compassionate approach to learning. Her classes offer a warm, positive, and safe atmosphere where everyone is welcome exactly as they are.
For Lotta, dance and movement are lifelong sources of love and strength. She believes that movement can heal, liberate, and empower — and that everyone has the right to find their own way of expressing themselves through dance.
At Flama, Lotta teaches heels dance, commercial dance, and yoga.
