Want to make your dancing feel smoother, more connected and effortless? Come and explore SILC with us!
Our SILC Sessions take you from foundation through to development, building the skills and techniques you need to really understand and enjoy this style of dance.
We’ll start with the foundations, learning some basic SILC moves while introducing the core techniques and connection principles that underpin the style.
Then we develop them - taking those foundations and turning them into more complex patterns, giving you the tools to make your dancing feel more fluid, controlled and connected.
Never tried SILC before? The first part of the workshop is suitable for absolute beginners, but the full workshop is aimed at Intermediate dancers and above.
If you're completely new to dance and would like to explore just the first patterns and techniques, get in touch and we can advise you on the best option.
What is SILC?
SILC is a style of dance particularly suited to slower music, with a strong focus on technique, connection and partnership.
It’s not just about learning different moves, it’s about exploring how your dance can look and feel smoother, more connected and more musical.
And if you want to take your SILC further, our SILC-trained teachers are also available for private lessons throughout the year in South Wales and at weekenders. Please get in touch 🤗
