LIVE MUSIC – SWING Tuesday Nights at Sallys 03/11

Join us every other Tuesday (odd weeks) for a cozy evening of swing dancing at Sally's in Folkets Park

This week with a special theme: Swing dance & LIVE MUSIC !

Whether you've never danced before or you've been social dancing for years, you're warmly welcome.

🍴 Sally's is open all day. Let's meet and eat from: 17:30

🕖 19:00-19:30 – Free Introductory Swing dance session
Each evening starts with a relaxed 30-minute introduction to different swing and blues dances led by Vivien & Philippa. No experience or partner needed! This week's focus is Balboa.

We'll explore dancing in close position and step into the elegant, rhythmic world of Balboa. The music throughout the evening will reflect this cozy atmosphere, with carefully selected DJ sets featuring great Balboa tunes.

🕢 19:30-22:00 – Social Dancing
Dance, chat, listen to great music, and enjoy a friendly evening with the community.

Everyone is welcome.
The evening and introductory session are free to attend. If you enjoy the event, we'd love your help in keeping it sustainable:

☕ Please support Sally's by enjoying a drink or something to eat.

💛 We also invite voluntary Swish donations to support the teachers, DJs and organisers.
A simple way to think about it:
• ☕ Coffee = "Thanks for a lovely evening."
• 🍺 Beer = A standard contribution.
• 🍸 Cocktail = Helping us grow the scene and work towards hosting live bands in the future.

Finally, if you have a few spare minutes before or after the event, we'd really appreciate an extra pair of hands to help move furniture. Many hands make light work!
